Do I Need a Leadership Mentor?

Smiling young lady who is a leader. She is leaning against a white pole.

Being a new leader can be a scary experience. Especially if you do not have the support that you need to grow professionally. I remember when I was in a new position once and needed help. I asked a few more experienced teammates for advice on a particular problem. Unfortunately, my team members forgot what it felt like to be a new person in that role. As a result, I was ridiculed and shunned for asking for help.

Needless to say, that work environment was quite toxic and I had to seek support from others outside of the organization in order to grow. I want you to feel safe to ask me questions related to leadership, and I will strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you.

I know that everyone is unique, and I desire to help you grow as a leader.

This is done through encouragement, thoughtful and honest feedback, and by building relationships with my clients.

When you are a New Leader sometimes you may feel inadequate. You may be leading people who are older or even more experienced than you. Just know that by simply building up your knowledge base and skillset as a leader, you will also increase your confidence in your leadership abilities.
